That's right! Today marks the launch of my first ever Single EP - Downtown. While it's not necessarily an original song, I'm still just as excited to share it as if it were.
The idea for creating this came back in September of 2022, where I was working on a musical with the same name. Downtown the Musical was a Jukebox celebration of all things 60s. I enjoyed it so much, that I even created a Pit Cam video on Youtube (check it out). Since then, something in the back of my mind had been nagging me about creating a rock version of the classic song; cut to January '23, where I start to arrange it.
Everything in this song was recorded - or programmed - by me. Edited, mixed, mastered. You name it, I did it.
It was a lot of fun to work on, and I hope you enjoy the final product. There may even be reason to keep your eyes peeled in the future for similar ideas... but that's for a later date ;)
Downtown is streaming everywhere that music do - Spotify, Apple, Pandora, iHeartRadio. All of it!
